For this year‘s birthday lunch with the Godfather I picked to go to the Windsor location of Roma restaurant. We arrived pretty early at 11 o’clock or so and there were a few other tables taken. So we were seated right away. We told the waiter that it was my birthday. He said they didn’t really do anything special or have desserts but he said he would see what they could do. Eventually we ordered lunch I ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I got the large size because they have pizzas for half price on Mondays and figured I could take the rest home. The Godfather had spaghetti and meatballs.
The godfathers spaghetti and meatballs had two good size meatballs and a pretty good size plate of spaghetti that looked really good and he enjoyed it a lot.
I thought the pizza was all right. It had a very thin crust and it was a little thicker around the edges but it seemed like it was missing something. The toppings and cheese and sauce on top I thought were pretty good. After lunch they brought out a plate of pizza dough things with cinnamon and sugar in them and they gave me my drink for free.at Roma restaurant I had a decent lunch that was a very good value and I want to go back and try their pasta.
