My club sandwich was rather large and I
wasn’t sure how to attack it. But once each half was cut in half it was
manageable. This sandwich consisted of a
ciabatta roll that was grilled with I think basil mayo, which was a nice
addition, along with ham, turkey, cheddar, Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. What made this a better than your basic club
sandwich was the grilled ciabatta bread, which was just better than the basic
bread you typically get. The bacon was
also really good and crispy. Along with
this came with a choice of side, I chose fries which were hot, crispy and salty
and the best I’ve had in a while and the longest fries I’ve seen.
Mom enjoyed
her grilled turkey sandwich as well, it was similar to mine, but the turkey was
grilled and had avocado instead of cheese and ham. Mom also commented on how good the fries
were. Throughout our meal golfers were
in and out, and I think we were the only non-golfers in the place for most of
the time. That morning I woke up not
even knowing of this place and there wasn’t much online either, but despite
this I had a very successful lunch.
